All the major tourist attractions of the historical Borders Region are withing easy travelling distance from 'The Haven'. The area has something for everyone. With unspoilt 'Heritage Coastline' and remote rolling hills further inland you will find sightseeing and activities second to none. Famous castles such as Bamburgh can be found on the coast and the home of 'Harry Potter' at Alnwick. The ancient history of the region includes the border town of Berwick upon Tweed which has changed hands between the Scots and English 13 times during the border wars!

The holy island of Lindisfarne is situated a short drive away and is reached via a causeway at low tide. It is known as the seat of Christianity in Europe boasting a castle overlooking the North Sea and ruined monastry. The area is a haven for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts with bird and seal colonies on the Farne Islands which can be visited by a boat trip from Seahouses Harbour
